Frequently Asked Questions
We know a wedding at sea comes with a few more questions than a traditional celebration. We have gathered the most important details below to make planning your trip as simple as possible.
Getting Started
RSVP & Booking
How do I RSVP?
Please complete the RSVP form on our homepage for everyone included in your invited party. You may submit your response even if you have not finished booking your cruise.
If your reservation is still in progress, select that option on the form. After booking, return to the RSVP form to add your reservation number, dining time, stateroom information, and T-shirt sizes.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please submit your formal RSVP by September 1, 2026. We need a response from every invited household, including guests who are unable to attend.
If you plan to attend but your booking is still in progress, you may indicate that on the form and return later to complete your reservation information.
When should I book my cruise?
We recommend reserving your stateroom as soon as you are able. Cruise prices and availability may change as the sailing approaches, and booking earlier gives you a better selection of stateroom categories and locations.
A 10% deposit is currently required to reserve your stateroom, with the remaining balance due 90 days before sailing.
How do I book my cruise?
Contact Adrianna, our Disney Cruise planner, at adrianna@everlastingtravelco.com .
Let her know you are booking for Christine & Carter’s Wedding. She can help you compare current pricing, room categories, deposits, and payment options.
Why do I need to book through Adrianna?
Adrianna is the coordinator authorized to book guests into our wedding group. Booking through her ensures that your reservation is properly connected to our celebration.
Reservations made directly through Disney, another travel advisor, or a third-party website may not be recognized as part of the wedding group.
Do guests have to pay for the cruise?
Yes. Guests are responsible for their own cruise fare, travel arrangements, and personal onboard expenses. The cruise includes your accommodations, meals, entertainment, and vacation experience separate from our hosted wedding events.
What if I already booked somewhere else?
Please contact Adrianna before cancelling or changing anything. She can review your reservation and let you know whether it can be transferred or connected to our wedding group.
What if I am unable to attend?
We completely understand that joining us for a destination wedding may not be possible for everyone. Please still complete the RSVP form by September 1 and select that you will not be attending.
The Celebration
Wedding Day Details
When and where is the wedding?
Our ceremony will take place aboard the Disney Wish on Tuesday, December 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM while the ship is docked in Nassau.
Guest seating will begin at approximately 12:30 PM. The final onboard location and arrival instructions will be shared with attending guests closer to sailing.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both our ceremony and reception will take place entirely indoors aboard the Disney Wish.
You will not need to plan your outfit or shoes around sand, wind, beach conditions, or outdoor temperatures. The ship may feel cool indoors, so you may still want to bring a light wrap, sweater, or jacket.
What time should I be ready?
Please plan to be completely dressed and ready by approximately 12:00 PM. Guest seating will begin at 12:30 PM, and the ceremony will start promptly at 1:00 PM.
Can I leave the ship in Nassau before the wedding?
We strongly recommend keeping the morning relaxed and avoiding excursions or off-ship plans that could interfere with the wedding.
Please keep approximately 12:00–3:00 PM open for the ceremony, reception, cake, toasts, and group photos.
Will the wedding interfere with cruise dinner?
No. Our wedding events will take place during the afternoon, and guests will still be able to attend their assigned rotational dinner seating that evening.
Will the wedding be livestreamed?
Yes. We plan to livestream the ceremony for invited loved ones who are unable to attend in person. The viewing link and instructions will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Will we receive a detailed schedule?
Yes. Attending guests will receive additional information closer to sailing, including the wedding location, arrival instructions, optional group plans, and final reminders.
Your Invited Party
Guests & Group Plans
Can I attend the wedding without taking the cruise?
No. All in-person wedding guests must be booked passengers aboard the Disney Wish for the December 14–18, 2026 sailing.
It is not possible to board the ship only for the wedding or attend just one portion of the cruise.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Only the guests included on your invitation are invited to the ceremony and reception. If a wedding plus-one was extended to you, that option will appear when you complete the RSVP form.
What is the difference between a plus-one and a companion?
A plus-one is an invited wedding guest who may attend the ceremony and reception.
A companion may sail with you, share your stateroom, and enjoy the cruise but is not invited to the private wedding events.
Are children invited?
Children are welcome to join their families on the cruise, but our ceremony and reception will be adults-only celebrations.
Families will need to arrange for their children to use the appropriate onboard youth space, nursery, or another caregiving arrangement during the wedding events.
Do I have to participate in every group activity?
Not at all. Outside of the ceremony and reception, we want everyone to enjoy the cruise at their own pace.
Additional group activities and themed evenings will be optional, leaving plenty of time to explore the ship, relax, and make your own plans.
What if I need an accessibility accommodation?
Please let us know as early as possible if someone in your invited party may need an accommodation during the wedding.
Accessible staterooms, mobility assistance, dietary needs, and cruise-related requests should also be discussed with Adrianna during the booking process.
Planning Your Voyage
Travel, Attire & Cruise Details
When should I arrive in Florida?
We strongly recommend arriving in Central Florida at least one day before embarkation.
Flights and travel delays can be unpredictable, and the ship cannot wait for guests who arrive after embarkation has ended.
Where should I stay before the cruise?
Guests may stay near Orlando International Airport, closer to Port Canaveral or Cocoa Beach, or at a Walt Disney World Resort.
Visit our Travel & Stay page for hotel ideas and transportation information.
Will transportation to the port be provided?
We are not arranging one private wedding-group transfer. Guests may explore Disney Cruise Line transportation from eligible locations, private transportation, rideshare, rental cars, or terminal parking.
What travel documents will I need?
Every guest is responsible for having the current identification and travel documents required to board the ship and visit the cruise destinations.
Please review the official requirements well before sailing and make sure the name on your documents matches your cruise reservation.
What should I wear to the wedding?
Our wedding dress code is Coastal Winter Semi-Formal. Think polished, elegant, and celebration-ready, with romantic winter colors inspired by the coast.
Visit our Attire & Packing Guide for outfit inspiration, color suggestions, and packing information.
Do I have to wear the wedding color palette?
No. The palette is intended as inspiration rather than a required uniform.
We simply ask guests to reserve predominantly white, ivory, cream, and bridal-style outfits for the bride. White accents and white included within a print are completely welcome.
What will the weather be like?
December conditions may vary, so light layers will be helpful. Central Florida can have cooler mornings and evenings, while The Bahamas will generally feel warmer and more tropical.
Pack warm-weather clothing and swimwear along with a light jacket, sweater, or wrap for breezy decks and air-conditioned spaces.
Will there be themed nights?
We anticipate some form of Pirate Night and are also planning a Christmas Pajama Night for our group.
The official entertainment schedule will be available closer to sailing. Participation in all cruise themes is optional.
How will we receive updates?
Important information will be posted on our wedding website and shared directly with attending guests as we get closer to sailing.
Please keep your RSVP details current and use an email address you check regularly for your cruise reservation.
